We all know that people love their pets and care for them like a family member. A pet needs a lot of care, especially when it is a puppy. Different types of dog breeds require different types of care. Here we are sharing with you some tips to take care of Pug puppy.

Pug fur

Remember pugs shed hairs a lot, especially during summers! Use a brush which has stainless steel bristles for your Pug's fur. Make sure to brush it at least once a week. This will help to reduce the fur collection in the house and will also make your pug look neat and smart.

You can even brush your Pug every day. Notably, Pugs enjoy being brushed. While you brush, make sure to brush in the direction of the hair growth. Do not push the brush too hard and try doing gentle and smooth strokes.

Pugs can be given bath once in a week in summers and once in a month in winters.

Pug face wrinkle

Pugs are born with folds and wrinkles, which are its basic characteristics. Make sure you clean its facial folds regularly as it may attract a lot of dust and dirt. If not cleaned regularly, they may even lead to infections or fungus.

Pug Ears

Ears are very delicate part of the body. So handle with a lot of care. Use a damp cloth or baby wipe to clean your Pug's ears. Clean only those areas that are visible to you, don't try to go deep. Make sure to clean the ears of your Pug whenever there it's required.

Pug Teeth

Start brushing the teeth of your Pug when it is a pup in order to develop a habit. It's great if you can easily handle the job, else you can take help of your vet.

Buy a dog toothbrush and toothpaste. Brushing your Pug's teeth once in a month is pretty sufficient.
